How can I love you if loving is forbidden to do so?

How can I tell you if even the Heavens must not hear my woes?

You are so near, yet I can only steal a glance;

You are standing in front of me, but I can’t even reach out.

How can I long for you if whenever I need your touch,

You are not here and I have no right to ask?

How can I ache for you if even pain can’t ease

What I feel whenever you are with her?

How can I miss you if even time

Is not often completely ours?

How can I hold on if even I own a puzzle piece

Of your heart you can never really be mine?

You are here yet, seem so unreal.

You kiss me but everything’s fleeting.

But heck! I can no longer deny

That in my own space, in my own reality

Only you can fiercely possess me like this way,

That I wonder, how can I start letting go?
