Perle en Stylos actually started as an online journal several years ago from its original name, Pens and Pearls.

As I moved in now to my blog’s new home, I’ll continue sharing here bits of my thoughts about Life, about my journey as a solo parent– the joys and pains– and about the things I am most passionate about.

To name a few: first, I’ve been so ardent about reading and since first grade, the books I have read and ‘been crazy about varied as I grew older.

Aside from scribbling poems and stories, I also love doing crafts, scrapbooking and watching movies.

Another thing, music and writing for me is like peaches and cream or perhaps, salt and pepper or even better, Mac and cheese.

And, yes! I am kinda obsessed about rain, beaches & sunsets but not as much as I dearly adore my children.

What’s in a Name?

The titles ‘Perle en Stylos’ and  ‘Pens and Pearls’ were created from my own name, which means pearl in French. 

By the way, ‘terradegramm’ is the pseudonym I’ve been using for some of my poetry and short stories.
