Finally

Stumbling, falling, hoping, reaching

Stumbling

falling

hoping

reaching

Fails oneself, stumbling, falling in doubt.

Arouses, finally, hoping, reaching out.

In response to the Daily Post – Daily Prompt Finally

An Unfailing Covenant

Thousands of decades ago, on the fall of Man, God declared His greatest covenant.

Thousands of decades ago,

on the fall of Man,

God declared His greatest covenant.

A promise of Hope

to step tired, weary legs

over again on Eden’s earth.

A vow of steadfast love,

softly caresses wounded hearts,

and changes millions of lives.

A truth of His Faithfulness

even it asks the holocaust

of His only Son.

It’s the forgiveness for a soul.

the dream of a better life

and the goal of eternal life.

Thousands of decades have passed,

and yet, to those who believe

the Covenant remains unfailing.

Condemned

Mercy, for good grief!

He, whose own tough life was ditched:

Spare your kind mercy.

I am alone here
in the darkness.
Hiding from their
accusing stares.
Eluding from certain
guilt from within.
Nobody but a
dumb jury
listens to me.
Scorned,
abandoned.
I, who has been
cruelly merciless,
is now lost, dreading
and silently melting.
Cold, lifeless,
deprived of laughter.
Mourning,
weeping without tears.
Haunted by the phantom
Of supposedly
what I am
but can never be.
If only I have never
destroyed him.
He has to leave
so I can live.
In silence,
in monotony
from the past.
He had been too prying
that I have killed him.
I stabbed him
until he bled not.
I choke him
until he is silent.
I slay him many times
until there is pain no more.
He had to be dead,
or else I am.
But, still his death
is not less worse than mine,
because he is
everything that I am.

Honk

I can hear countless noises.

I can hear countless noises

Noises hollowed yet loud

Loud, proud except one honk

Honk and I listen to its sound.

Black

And they can see nothing…

He won a white space

and they can see nothing but

a black smudge smeared it.
